Eragon: Review By Lone Wolf

Eragon was a great film. Starting with the story, it didn't follow book really well at all, but that doesn't mean it was horrible. The new ideas for it were awesome in my own opinion. The acting was really good. Ed Speelers is a good actor, but most of the great performance came from Jeremy Irons and Robert Carlyle. They were also the only characters that seemed to have been true to the book the most. The directing was much better than I expected. For a rookie, Stefen Fangmeier sure knows how to come up with some good and new ideas. Last, the visuals. They were top knotch. Saphira look so real to me. And the Shadow Bat at the end of the movie was freaking awesome. All and all, great film, may not follow the book but still a great film.
