Disney movies (other than pixar) have ceased to entertain me for some time now,so I immediately had high hopes when I heard about this.It starts out animated(Very well animated too!!)and tells a story we all know too well until things take a turn for the worst and a Disney princess winds up in the real world! The performances are great!Everyone captures the essence of the fairy tale characters they portray.Amy Adams is infinitely cute and bubbly as the princess!James Marsden is funny and charismatic as the prince who is coming to save her.Susan Sarandon plays an evil stepmother(deja vu anyone?)and it all meshes quite well.there are some funny ideas and some decent songs for the kiddies. But if your like me and more or less are a big kid you may enjoy this as much as the three year old sitting beside you.The visuals are good from the animation at the beginning to the costumes and the cg effects in some of the scenes.i suggest this movie to anyone who once liked Disney and still can be enough of a little girl to enjoy it.

The Lost Girl
I feel the same way as you in your first sentence, which is the reason I have yet to see this (yes, I know I am prolly the only one by now). Think I'll check it out. Thanks for the review!
