Bank loan officer Christine Brown (ALISON LOHMAN) has a bright future and is trying to impress her boss in order to become Assistant Manager. But things get worse when Ms. Ganush (LORNA RAVER) wants an extinction for her house, and Christine decides to evict her out because the old lady had 2 other attempts to extinct her house but she didn't.

Now ashamed, Ms. Ganush attacks Christine in her car, takes a button off her coat, and puts the curse of the Lamia onto her: "In three days, as long as you don't give the curse to someone else, you will go to hell."

Now that her life is nightmarish, Christine's boyfriend Clay (JUSTIN LONG) tries to help her by taking her to a psychologist, but what good does that f*cking do? Ah, well, at least this one knows a lot about the Lamia, that's good.

ENDING SPOILER: After her failure on trying to give the cursed button back to the dead lady, Christine really DOES go to hell at the end, and her boyfriend is now alone without her...and he starts shredding in tears before the credits start to roll. How disappointing! No wonder why my sister hated this movie, and she actually loves horror movies!

Sam Raimi returns to his horror spirit; Lorna Raver was quite impressive playing a scary bitch; Justin Long was okay; but Alison Lohman was mostly really great playing the lead role, if this is her first time being in a horror movie, she still did really good...and she was really beautiful too! Like I said, if only the ending could have been better, but it's still a movie worth watching, and I'm going to buy the DVD when it comes out.
