District 9: Review By IndyJones

I came into this movie not knowing much. All I knew where that there were signs at comic con that had the sign with the alien and it said D-9.com. Now after sitting thru this adrenaline filled movie, I am astonished at the amazing cgi that was seamlessly integrated into the scenes in the movie. I felt refreshed with this intelligent story line that had characters that I cared about. I think I enjoyed this movie alot more due to the fact that there were no "A-list" actors or actresses. I feel the movie is alot more believable when the actors are not Brad Pitt or Leonardo DeCRAPPIO! These actors and actresses did a tremendous job especially under the circ*mstances that they had to act with nothing alot of the time. This film would not have been as good if it didn't have a strong director behind it like it did. I loved the visuals in this movie. Alot of exploding people and interesting gadgets and weaponry (eye candy) for you to sick your teeth into. If you are looking for the movie of the summer, look no further than District 9.
