Diary of the Dead: Review By Hostile

It pains me to say this, considering I'm a die hard George A Romero fan. But this movie didn't win me over. The story line was pretty straight forward, zombie out break happens, group of college kids come together and try to get to safety. Normal zombie movie plot. But the one thing i think that killed this movie........was the cast. These actors couldn't act their way out of a paper bag. Even more so for the chick character. As I was watching the movie I would get into the story but then one of the actors would do something so lame that i'd get sent back to reality. Hopefully with the second movie coming out soon George will do his research alittle better and cast better people ( Im sorry George! )

I'm a zombie movie lover so of course i got the dvd. After watching it the third time it's not AS bad. But a movie shouldn't take three times to be like " ehhh ok ".
