Deception is a decent thriller that is laced together with the expected twists and turns and is definitely something you'll be both entertained by and feel comfortable with. The comfort, really, comes from having seen it all before.

Yes, it's totally predictable. But I've, personally, seen it done at least twice before...and not that long ago.

McGregor and Jackman are pefectly well suited for these roles and deliver exactly the performance you need and expect to feel perfectly satiated by the end.

The only REAL 'beef' I have is that I wanna know WHERE'D YOU PUT THE DOUGH, DIPSH*T?

'nuff said!

I think this movie was better than just ok. Each time I watch it it gets better. I think that he left the money behind because he knew they would eventually figure out that it had been stolen and he did not want to have to worry about people looking for him. I know sounds like a bunch of crap, but it is the best reason I can think of. I think he was an idiot for leaving it too.

I think the dough was left behind... that's what I was so frustrated about... McQuarry was an idiot. After nailing all that dough and exposing himself to all that entailed, he's on the run with that little tart and no money, no job, no credentials. Instead, he could have been on the run with the chick with $20m. Hmmmmm.... not a hard choice, methinks.
