Death Wish II is definitely my personal favorite in the Death Wish series.

Bronson is cooler then ever: gloomy and stoic, but he does express charm, especially in his acting. Also, the mutual relationships with his daughter, with Jill Ireland, are brought in credibility to give an impact over the course of the movie. The expiration city life is portrayed beautifully: the contempt from the filmmakers against eccentrically clothed punks, bumps, prostitutes and cheap motels becomes very clear. A true time doc*ment from 80s. The dystopian feeling is emphasized because of the alienated soundtrack from Jimmy Page.

The thieves are, once again, deliciously oversimplified: hilariously wrong clothed and they almost seem in some kind of unstoppable trance of sex and violence. Specifically the very young Laurence Fishburne. How they finally come to their end piece by piece is amazing, especially the legendary quote "you believe in Jezus". Amazing!!
