That synopsis is from the studio, not mine...I know it's yet another vampire movie, but, this movie sounds cool and has a good cast...hopefully, its a diamond in the rough.

Am real fine there , just moved , Halloween is just around the corner , been eating only horror flicks all tru the month of october , talking about vampire flicks the one that made the round this month is Lost boys : the tribe , one of the most entertaining straight to dvd horror flick youll stumble upon .my all time fav is without a doubt NEAR DARK , kinda dreadin the remake that is in the works , but you never know. One of the few flicks that was a first view during this month f*cking blew me away . wow the french flick MARTYRS is one of the most brutal film i now own , and the originality of it is kinda mesmerizing , really love it a must see for everyone but not everyone will be able to stomach it .anyway if your interested to know what horror films has made this years halloween round check out my what have you watch horrro thread
Seriously, guys--the Matrix? Have you even seen the trailer for this movie? They seem nothing alike. Granted the plot isn't really original either, it's a dystopian future where a guy working for The Man encounters La Resistance. But the society of vampires setting puts an interesting spin on normal undead stories. Instead of the undead rising and threatening to destroy civilization, they've become civilization, and hunting humans is the status quo.
I'm not stoked, but I've heard nothing but good things from people who saw the Fantastic Fest screening. Too bad it couldn't be more original, like... The Matrix. (?)
I wasn't complaining, I was just saying when AFC told the plot it reminded me of the Matrix (which is one of my favorite films). I haven't watched the trailer.
I haven't got the chance to see this one. I like watching vampire movies, this one is cool based on the video link. Interesting story line too. I hope to find it in videos.
I Thought Daybreakers was actually Bad .. i found little to no enjoyment in it ... glad you guys enjoyed it tho .. but i found it boring ,, i think its funny how the Protagonist name is Edward Dalton .. .lol Edward .. i mean C'mon!
I was just short of dragged into the theater to see this with my friends. I admit, I didn't know much about it, but it looked like another ridiculous vampire movie. Not in the Twilight genre, but the Blade: Trinity genre. To my surprise, it was actually not that bad. I enjoyed it a good amount. Willem Dafoe was great.
I love this movie. I have watched this movie at least 4 times but still I wanna watch it again. I have invited my friends on this weekend to watch Daybreakers movie from http://www.moviewatchlist.com/movie-daybreakers this site . I am sure We will have a great time by watching this movie..
