If George A. Romero, the Zombie master, was our Lord and savior. Then Day of the Dead would be Jesus.

Hey, lets teach Zombies how to fire a gun, as if their not menacing enough already, Romero must have somehow thought while writing this screenplay. As with most of Romero's movies the worst of the danger doesn't lie in the hands and teeth of the Zombies, its lies in the minds of the characters in the film.

Theirs always some guy that has to go out for a smoke a forgets to close the door behind him or a terrified scientist who while making his escape, lets all the other zombies in to feast. In this case, its some dick head army guy, who has no idea what he's doing, but wants to run the show anyways. I hated this guy. I actually wanted to reach into my screen and slap him, so I guess it was good acting on his behalf. He was supposed to be a dick. And our hero's. What an unlikely trio that was.

Man the 80's sucked! Fortunately "Day of the Dead" didn't. Once things kick off in this flick, they don't let up. Packed with some wicked kills including a guy being torn to shreds by a pack of Zombies. Apparently, they actually used real pigs intestines for that scene, how cool is that? Anyways, "day of the Dead", a must have in any gore or zombie goers collection!!!
