As much as I love zombie flicks, there's no chance I'll watch this until it goes to DVD. Given the 2 trailers I've seen, there's a lot of action around a hospital, more than one sequence of zombies being stuck by cars, and no bunker.
As said before, this has nothing to do with the original. Remember in the old film, they had the loopy doctor that was teaching a zombie to salute, to use the phone... to train him? That was fabulous.
NOTHING like that, even resembling the original seems to be in this film. I hate to say this, but I'm already disappointed.
What the hell was that? No bunker? How can you even call that a remake when it has absolutely nothing to do with the original? I'm gonna have to see it anyways but what the hell???
steve miner is great zombies that run are way more frightening than stupid ass stubling ones that you can just walk past and push over, even though this one dosent follow the original plot it still looks good and it shure as hell looks way better than george romeros diary of the dead which was a big disappointment and a waste of money and time...he should of quit while he was ahead
oh come on steve miner zombies that run i thought he would have learned with the pathetic remake of dawn of the dead it does not work with the story line of the rest of the movies leave this to george a romero land of the dead was a great continuation to the storyline
this is a insult to the original it does not follow the story line and how can thay have the same actor that thay had in dawn of the dead (2004) he was a police officer in that now hes in the army how stuped do thay think we are
That movie should never be released... please production company, the director, the actors and anyone involved with this movie... do not let this be released. Dawn of the Dead remake was heading in the right direction... this remake should be an improvement of that one. DO NOT RELEASE THIS MOVIE... There will be no money made... For Ving Rhames sake at least.
what the hell are you doing hollywood???? your killing the walking dead genre, god damn it.. this movie looks like trash, i doubt if they even show previews on tv for this one... i could have directed a better movie than this, its like every year hollywood throws another word in front of "of the dead" and they think its a hit.. day of dead, no, sorry, try again
Was this movie so bad that they just, what, put it in a hole to ferment? Yes, this property looks bad. Yes, someone obviously feed some $#!* to these actors in the hope that they'd regurgitate something better. 2008's a month away. Where's this movie?
OMG, thanks hollywood. you blew it......AGAIN! doesnt look like ill be buying a ticket, the dvd, even a rental. i was so excited when the zombie genre finally started making a comeback, but now im sorry i ask. add another to the crap heap.
Day of the dead was the best Zombie film ever made and this remake just looks screwed up. The origional plot was way better. This ones goin straight to betamax.
i don't see how there calling it a remake when there not stay to the story line of the first movie there not even in a bunker. dosen't look good at all!
