Stupid despicable characters do stupid despicable things with one of the most obnoxious horror movie villains ever made...

Creep is a good time without asking too much of its audience, a film that knows how and why horror works.

Confesso que fiquei curioso para conhecer as circunstancias que levaram a "criacao" do vilao. Infelizmente, o filme so se preocupa em ve-lo imitando Jason Voorhees.

To borrow from Colin Firth in Love actually: It is mainly scary how bad the writing is.

The performances are good, particularly Potente, who avoids scream queen cliches by making her character surprisingly unlikeable - Kate is rude and arrogant in her early scenes and the fact that she's German is, of course, a coincidence.

Disarmingly entertaining, in an extremely grisly sort of way

...as a sort of Halloween clone set underground, the film works.

Light on plot and almost entirely devoid of logic, the movie still manages to deliver a heaping handful of grisly goods...if, like me, you're into that sort of thing.

Ho-hum slasher flick.
