    Jeff Bridges shines in the performance of his career here. He definitely deserved the Best Actor Award. The plot is nothing special, common in other movies, such as the Wrestler and Urban Cowboy. But Bridges makes up for the plot with his brilliant and sublime performance. I have said this times before about actors but Bridges truly brings the role of Bad Blake to life. Bridges is terrific and the supporting cast is great. 4 out of 5 stars.

    bad blake.. what a believable character,and maggie, thank you,you may just should have won best actress,surely over the one that did,not saying any names.
