Crash: Review By DaddyDow
If you do not come away from this movie thinking about your own personal feelings regarding race then you did not pay attention.

Added the following days after seeing this movie and that is key, this is one of those movies that you can keep thinking about days later, it is that good. This movie spills over with dramatic flare, sometimes seeming to come close to going overboard in fact, however never too much just right in your face drama.
The seemingly never-ending interactions between plot lines and how they are all interconnected are a challenge to follow, even for a seasoned movie buff. The average viewer could get lost at times and miss some important or key moments, however even if some are missed there are more than enough other things going on to insure an involved and complete storyline is carried through to the end.
This movie is not for young children, however a well developed teenager may just come away from this movie better prepared for real life with regards to race relations and how people stereo-type others and how that can and will negatively impact a great portion of daily interactions between strangers and even friends.
I have had several discussions regarding this movie with others who have recently watched it, most will agree that is a good movie. It does seem to effect people differently and I think that because this movie was a strictly dramatic piece that it could fail to please all as greatly as it did me.

Yea this was one of those movies....really asking us to look at the way we relate to others and our own thoughts about others. It was a good one.
