Crank: Review By SCREENWRITER

Okay, theres always a good and a bad in a Jason Staham movie. The good is that it always has you in that adrenaline rush feeling. The bad is that the action is always over-the-top and just a little too much. This movie has both factors. I'm not saying i hated this movie, but i just found it to be a little TOO much. But as you see, i gave it 4.5 stars, so obviously theres more good than bad. Thats the only bad. The rest is good. Heres why? Jason Statham i would say is the action hero of the 2000's so far. He comes out with atleast three action flicks a year and there all over-the-top. To me, Statham is the new Arnold S. without the acient. lol. Hey theres nothing wrong with a big action star, but i think Statham is one of them. But to tell the truth, i was never too found of Statham's acting. His movies are okay but most of his movies suck. This is one of his movies that i actually like. His Transporter series was absolute crap! Death Race was WAY too much to be considered a good movie. And In The Name Of The King was the worst MEDIEVIL movie ever! I just dont like Jason Statham that much! He needs to work on his acting skills. I'm not saying i could do any better but he just thinks that his action scenes will save the movie. For the most part, it does. But i did actually like this movie so his acting was not bad at all in this. 4 stars. Good job Statham, you did good. But now its 2008, and he has had movies after this AND GUESS WHAT? He went back to bad acting. To name a few, Death Race, Transporter 3, and so so. But this movie was good. I liked this movie BECAUSE of its adrenaline rush. All of his movies had that but this went to the extreme, and not extreme with fake stupid acting but real extreme. Some parts that i thought was stupid was doing crack to keep your heart racing, but it did go with the plot and movie so i cant agrue. I know a lot of people dont like this movie but i am not the only fan. THE CRYPTKEEPER liked this movie a lot as well. So see this
