This film had it all.. drunks, stars falling and others start rising to the top, over-the-top acting and an ending that can be seen a mile way as the train wreak of a film plods along!
At its best, "Country Strong",is a melodramatic, over-the-top, cheese fest. What is worst is at times it becomes a confused mess that is impossible to follow. It seems almost as if three or four scripts were shot and then the results cut together willy-nilly.
The intertwining love stories between Kelly Canter, James Canter & Beau Hutton was just a mess of plot points and holes. The plot became became so Fleetwood Mac towards the end.
SORRY DON'T WANT TO GIVE TO MUCH AWAY!
It has to be seen to be believed. and some audiences and critics hated "Burlesque" (I) (2010) ...guess not many saw "Country Strong".
How didn't Gwyneth Paltrow walk away with a Raqzzie Nod!?
My Final Rating: D
A Midnight Cult movie is born. Time to throw one liners!
