Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is an odd dark comedy slash drama set in the worlds of Television and Spy's witch is an interesting and unusual mix that creates a very surreal,interesting,and entertaining world. Sam Rockwell gives a great performance as a man who lives his life with highs and lows but mainly a lot of lows. One thing that I really like about movie is that even though I don't think its true it comes off like it could be true. Screenwriter Charlie Kaufman is one of the most talented screenwriters out there because he is able to mix in dark humor and characters into a very Funny and irresistible movie. George Clooney's direction of the movie is well done and very much in the tradition of Sidney Lumet but with his own style. While the movie is a period piece that spans threw the 60s and 70s it has the look that movies in that time looked like with the color tones and the camera angles.
