Cloverfield: Review By rlh06

Personally, I thought Cloverfield was brilliant and kicked arse! What else could you expect from J.J. Abrams than a story gives just viewers enough information to leave them asking for more? Perhaps more importantly, Cloverfield sends viewer scouring the internet (or the theatre again) to find out what they may have missed? Blair Witch in New York city? Hardly....Cloverfield's hand held camerawork presents a scary story that in many instances, makes viewers wish they were actually there, if only to get a longer peek at what's going on. Sequel....? Well, the end credits (if you stayed around for them) leave that door wide open. If J.J. Abrams is involved, expect more of the same, perhaps the same story, shown from another point of view.
