Clash of the Titans: Trailer

I havent seen the original but I am a little confused by the trailers. It seems that Zeus (Liam Neeson) orders Hades to start the war and later in the trailer orders for the Kraken to be released. So is he truly the good guy in here?

I am not too crazy about the creatute design, though, at least in comparison to the old one.

Medusa just doesn't work compared to the old one... at least so far.
