Clash of the Titans: Review By RubySoho

Having not seen the original and being totally clueless to the entire story, it was extremely easy for me to understand what was happening and why. I read tons of bad reviews before seeing this, which never persuades me away from anything anyhow, and I don't get what everyone is complaining about. It was a good story, it seemed like the action was non-stop, the acting was decent, and the visuals weren't cheap looking. The only complaint I have is that it could have done entirely without the 3D. I found myself at times taking off my glasses because there were too many details to focus on at one time and putting them back on when scenes were too hazy. If you are planning on seeing this, I suggest making sure you aren't going into the 3D showing. Another awesome performance from Sam Worthington and critiquing Liam Neeson is pointless because he's flawless in everything he does. I wished the climax had been drawn out further but I can see how that could have been overdone. It was almost like Kill Bill, kill one enemy and move down the list. The ending was thoroughly fulfilling and if you listen to bad reviews you may just be missing out on an overall good movie.
