This is one of those "found footage" movies where the main character decides to start life-casting. Unlike Cloverfield, in this movie it seems more believable, considering the character who is filming, also we get to see the guy filming a lot more.

Somehow these 3 boys become telekinetic but this movie isn't about the origins of their powers. It's about how the powers add to their lives. Their personalities don't really change much. I was impressed that they managed to make the super-villain sympathetic for the entire movie. Watching the events that turn him into the villain is uncomfortable.

I liked that they used their powers to hang out & do boy things like pull pranks. I was surprised that they didn't use the powers to get girls. That might have been too creepy though so I think it was the right decision to not do that. The movie had some really funny scenes.

Most of the superhero type action takes place at the end and is pretty good. Thanks to the use of digital video cameras, the special effects ended up looking very realistic, even the flying. I liked that they also used surveillance footage for some of the other scenes. The final scene is a little cheesy but I guess it's in character.
