Carrie' possibly has to be either the best or one of the best high-school horror movies I've ever seen yet

I'm going to start off by saying that 'Carrie' is not the typical high-school horror movie that you would see. I'm sorry. Parton men for me redundancy, but I meant to say that 'Carrie' is NOT the typical high-school horror movie that you would see. Not because that this is indeed an adaptation based on a Stephen King horror story, but because this film includes down right to the top high-school cruelty and teen torment to its story, involves some abuse towards women, and has a mother that overrates with her believes of Christianity if you know what I mean. Believe it or not all of this is actually is pretty scary and disturbing to watch based on the fact that some teen's life's can be just beat-up almost anywhere felling like that they are in a life of horror.

Now those aren't the only things that make the film scary because the film's story also includes a freaky look at supernatural powers which will sometimes bring a large number of small chills down your spine that will fell as if the chills never wear off.

The film is about a shy skinny girl named Carrie White (Sissy Spacek) that has telekinetic powers who gets pushed around almost everywhere she goes, at school, outside and even at home by her mother Margaret White (Piper Laurie). Carrie does have it rough on her life from some of the crap she has to take, but it's mostly from her mother because she'll hardly allow Carrie to do anything. You may think that Carrie's mother is a little bit overprotective but you find that she's more than just that when you see how she punishes Carrie, such as locking her up in the closet, anyways.

One day at school Carrie gets teased from a horrifying and unexpected period in the shower by the girls. After that one of the girls feels so bad for doing that to Carrie that she decides to convince her boyfriend, Tommy Ross (William Katt), to take Carrie to the prom. On the other hand a different girl, who also teased Carrie in the showers, doesn't feel bad for her actions at all. In fact she wants to make things worse for Carrie at the prom by setting up an evil prank with her boyfriend Billy (John Travolta) who doesn't mind slapping a girl.

Although if she and her boyfriend think that they're making things worse for Carrie, they're really making things worse for themselves, and I mean worse than anyone could possibly imagine, and you might want to pay full attention to the movie when it gets close to its delightfully dark prom scene in the end. Unlike any other prom scene I've seen in a movie, this one is disturbing and extremely scary to see. I have to say that 'Carrie' has the darkest prom scene I've seen yet. Seeing that at the end of the film made me say "Don't make Carrie angry. You won't like it when she's angry."

'Carrie' is a horrifying film showing the horrors of what teen reality can be like fictionally and non-fictionally. This is one of the best and possibly one of the most important Stephen King horror adaptations made yet. This is a great horror movie.
