Capote: Review By COWBOYSGURL02
This film was both shocking and well put together. Philip Seymor Hoffman's portrayal of Truman Capote skyrocketed him to the top of my list among favorite actors. By far my favorite of his films. Excellent job.

Capote stays in contact with Smith and Hitchc*ck(the other murderer)right up to their execution and finally manages to get Smith to talk. The 4 yrs it took Capote to write the book and the effect that Smith had over him once he revealed how he killed the entire family drive Capote to drink. This was the last book he ever finished and in the 80's, Capote died from problems related to alcoholism. It was such a good film, I definately recommend it, but don't watch it with children, some scenes are very violent and explicit.
