Buried: Review By TheSHIZNIT

I already know people will start leaving me comments saying how I got to see this movie. And I saw it a couple months ago at the Sundance Film Festival. And I got to see the movie. But I think it might be edited and be different when it comes out in theaters. This film was incredible it took a lot of guts to make. But I'll warn you that this film isn't for everyone. Because literarily (not exaggerating) this film really was Ryan Reynolds trapped in a box for an hour and a half. It doesn't cut away from the box or has flashbacks. But it very suspenseful and enjoyable. It does start to get drag in some scenes. But it gets more exciting. This film may be disappointing to some but if you notice nether of the trailers have any footage of the film at all. But it's because they don't want you to know it's just him in a box.

Story: The story is great and very original. And it is like nothing you've seem before! I loved the whole constep of being trapped in the box. I thought it was fantastic. But I really don't have much to say about the plot because I will just keep repeating the same thing and mention lots of spoilers!

Acting: Ryan Reynolds was absolutely unbelievable!! He was great! He did a great performance! You actually feel bad for him and want him to get out! I really can't say much of his performance or anyone else because everyone else were just voices.

Directing: Absolutely incredible! It take so much courage for him to this! Because this is a new kind of genre in cinematic history! This is nothing you've seen before! I can't wait to see what he does next. I think this was very hard to make considering it was underground.

Visuals: All the visuals were great!!! Just seeing Ryan in the box I thought that it was amazing. [WARNING: HUGE SPOILER] The scene where Ryan Reynolds is suffocated by the sand I thought that was unbelievable! But I already expected him to die in the film considering the crack on the coffin. The visual for that was so great!!!

Buried is a real suspenseful film that took a lot of courage to make! And is a great step forward in cinematic history! Considering the terrible films we've been getting this year! This has you on the edge of your seat the entire time. I highly recommend it!
