Bruno: Review By Rob55

Let me state up front that I'm not a right-wing conservative and also that I do have a sense of humor. With that said, I cannot understand what some people find funny in Bruno, particularly those who say they laughed non-stop. I saw Borat and did find it funny, but Bruno was nothing more than a series of shocking segments thinly veiled as wanna-be humorous gags. I did laugh a couple of times and that's why I gave it a half star, but for the most part, Bruno had no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Everything about the film was poor, most notable of which was the story, or lack there of. Do yourself a favor and save the $8-$10 price of the movie ticket and see something else. Watch the trailer instead as it contains most if not all of the funny parts. If the box office performance of Bruno is any indication, word of mouth will soon kill this sorry excuse for a film.
