I dont know what this film is but i love it, i remember watchin this wiv my dad. So, Mel Gibson, good actor but i think he shouldnt of played William Wallace.

But the film is bloody amazing. He led that rebellion and fought the king just for his deadf loved one.

Overall this film made me think...

And the way William Wallace died at the end was really sad.

FREEDOM!

if your gonna review a film like Braveheart (which is easily an all time classic) you better put some f*cking effort into it!! you haven't even tried, your a sad excuse for a movie fan if this is the best you can come up with!
god damn it, Willian Wallace didn't fight and die for his country for it to be made into a GREAT movie, but then be ruined in a half assed attempt of a review! you better fix this! *angry face, bright red*

ugh, i expected this to be a half decent review, but all i get is someone who misunderstood the premise. This film depicts scotlands fight for outright freedom from the British who, led by longshanks, have been trying to overtake scotland.

William Wallace was not doing this just for his dead wife, although his rage WAS heightened by her death, his family had already been killed trying to free Scotland. He was doing this for his family and his countrymen.

And for your information Mel Gibson was a great choice for this role and he performed it to perfection.
