The story is kinda weak. But it still calls for some nice action, and fight scenes. It's pretty much about trying to put Dracula to rest. But this is not like Bram Stroker's version with the castle and stuff. Dracula is a badass killer! Instead of a sophisticated individual.
Wesley Snipes is definitely not a favorite of mine. Actually to tell the truth, he isn't a bad actor (not a good one either) but all his movies suck. The 4 exceptions being the 3 Blade films, and US Marshalls, which also has Tommy Lee Jones. But he was PERFECT for Blade. I honestly can't see anyone else in this role. He is awesome at killing vampires!! Jessica Biel playes Abigale, one of the people that teams up with Blade to stop the evil Dracula. I never really thought of her as this type of character, but she does a good job. Sure she was kinda cheesey in 1 or 2 parts, but overall, not too bad. Maybe Milla Jovovich would be a better choice though. Ryan Reynolds playes Hannibal King (no relation to Anthony Hopkins' character in Silence of the Lambs). I haven't really seen Reynolds in too much, but I do want to see the remake of The Amityville Horror, which he is in (duh). He does a fine job in this. I like his sense of humor, which doesn't come off stupid as it does in other movies when they have a character that is somewhat like his. It's kinda crude sometimes, but him and a few others are the only ones who can make me snicker at crude or dirty jokes. But only snicker. hehe
The director is David S. Goyer, who only wrote the first 2, but didn't direct. THIS time he did both write and direct! He does a great job here. I love how the fight scenes are coreographed. Also I think the way they portray Blade in this installment is the best.
The visuals are amazing! Of course there's vampires and blood! Plus you got dogs that are similar to the vampires in the second Blade film. All of this looks real, and not fake. Like I mentioned before, cool action scenes as well.
Out of everything, a cool movie. Maybe the best Blade films, but it's hard to tell. All are about equal, and this one and the second are superior to the first. I recommend that you take a look at this one. Especially if you are a fan of the first 2, and for some reason haven't seen this one yet.

I agree, this completion of the trilogy was not as good as the first two but it was still entertaining. BTW you may want to watch the remake of The Amitiville Horror, but if you are a fan of the original you will be disappointed. I rented it out of curiosity and was glad I did not purchase it.
