Black Mask (1999)

Before he was the mask, Tsui (Li) was part of the 701 Squad, an elite military force of medically enhanced super-soldiers who were rendered void of physical or emotional pain. Demoralized, Tsui escapes from their headquarters in mainland China and attempts to live a normal life in Hong Kong. But there is trouble lurking nearby.
