Beowulf: Review By Bensilvajr

For the first few minutes when I began watching Beowulf, I thought the actors were real people. I knew the King was Anthony Hopkins before I reviewed the credits. He was so lifelike. I settled in very quickly watching this film and was taken for a visual feast of movie-making. The characters demonstrated human-like expressions and qualities and soon you forgot that it was an animated film. I'm an older person and a big fan of mythology and Greek tragedies. This movie...the story and the visuals provided me with two hours of sheer pleasure.
