Beowulf: Review By Josh

From a visual standpoint, there's nothing to quibble about. The animation is great and the final battle with the dragon is so cool it's worth the price of admission for that alone. However, while Gaiman's script mostly works, thematically something gets lost in the translation from page to screen. In the end, Beowulf the character is too much a hero and not enough a tragedy.
