Being Flynn directed by Paul Weitz and starring: Dale Dickey, Julianne Moore, Lili Taylor, Olivia Thirlby, Paul Dano and Robert De Niro looks into the bonds between parent and child. I suppose it is meant to be a character study and it does well as that, because all of the actors are quite good. Yet it sort of slows up in the middle and end,and ultimately does not have a climactic ending.

Weitz does a good job working with his actors.
