Battle: Los Angeles: Synopsis
For years, there have been documented cases of UFO sightings around the world - Buenos Aires, Seoul, France, Germany, China. But in 2011, what were once just sightings will become a terrifying reality when Earth is attacked by unknown forces. As people everywhere watch the world's great cities fall, Los Angeles becomes the last stand for mankind in a battle no one expected. It's up to a Marine staff sergeant and his new platoon to draw a line in the sand as they take on an enemy unlike any they've ever encountered before.

Yes its unoriginal, another alien invasion movie were america is under attack but we already knew that sh*t its call Battle LA what do you think you were going to see, so dont be a dick about it cuz am not and i dont even live in the USA.
Not a bad movie lots of action the acting was ok and yes the plot was some what predictable but i was very entertained by the movie, the CGI was alright but it could of been better, the aliens technology were not so advanced so it did gave us humans a fighting changes which was very cool unlike that piece of sh*t movie skyline which was totally pointless, and all that sh*t about the camera shaking like in the cloverfield movie crap it was fine, so If your looking for a action flick with lots of explosion will i recommend it, its not the best movie ive seen this year and i know it wont be but its not the worst an ok watchable movie.

@Ilikepie202 it actually is very different from your standard alien movie, its fun, its full on, very good acting, not played off campishly, or unrealsiticallly, the director did what he set out to do.

Battle Los Angeles: Big Brother's Latest Big Budget Brainwasher
Last Saturday we used a gift card to go and see the new "Battle: Los Angeles" flick, a psyops collaboration between Pentagon war profiteers and TinselTown CGI geeks in which a Few Good Men accompanied by a couple of forgettable kids and has-been hotties Hoo-Rah their way from product placement to product placement in what is no doubt the first installment of a perpetual war for our planet's most precious resource (in this script water, not oil). Aside from making millions for Hollywood movie moguls, the purpose of this propaganda piece is to reverse the American military's real-world role as a resource aggressor and, during the suspension of disbelief, imprint on the minds of the audience that sacrificing our sons and daughters if not ourselves in an endless and ever-expanding war for riches and resource control is both honorable and a patriotic obligation.

The trailer looks pretty epic, but the plot iffy. IMDB says a Marine Platoon vs alien species (robotic species from the trailer). Also from the trailer, it looks like a mix of Terminator meets War of the Worlds meets Halo: Reach meets District 9 (if you can follow) oh and Independence Day haha! But nonetheless will go see because the filming looks promising.
