Batman & Robin: Review By the_tall_guy

Let me start by saying that Batman is my favorite comic book hero of all time.

I do not know what Joel Schumacher was thinking when he decided to take over a franchise that Tim Burton has started. What I loved about Burton's two Batman movies were how they introduced the element of Batman's darker side (of course not to the extreme that Christopher Nolan set in his series). Joel Schumacher had taken that element away, and made it into an annoying movie with bright colors and stupid puns.

I'm gonna mostly focus on the suits. Why did Joel feel it was necessary to add nipples onto the Batsuit? It was completey unecessary and doesn't even feature on any other Batsuit that I know of.

I also want to say that George Clooney should never EVER play Batman again. I liked the choice of Val Kilmer; I think Val was the only good decision Joel made (Besides Jim Carrey playing the Riddler; Awsome).

Now, usually I like Arnold Schwarzenegger's movies, like the Terminator and Predator, but this is his absolutely worst performance to date (in my opinion). His frequent use of puns (i.e. "Let's kick some ice.") made his character hard to take seriously at all.

Joel, please, stay out of the Batman series. Thank God that Christopher Nolan took over.
