This movie is what I’ll use for an example of a ‘meh’ film. I didn’t like this movie and I didn’t hate it. I wouldn’t put this is one of Nick Cage’s great or good movies list. I’d put it in his top three bad movies only because he only has three movies that I don’t like. Here’s the bad list.

2.Banhkok Dangerous

Those are the only three Nick Cage movies were I was like ‘Meh’ at the end of it. The three weren’t horrible but they weren’t good either. I think Bangkok Dangerous is a 2.5 star movie. It was really short for a action movie and it was just okay. I don’t think it deserves five stars because the movie just flows with a plot that was actually alright but used the wrong way. The movie has some cool action scenes but action isn’t going to make a movie great. It needed a better plot. Some things would happen and not be explained. The ending of this movie was horrible. Nothing Is explained and it really pissed me off. The acting in this movie is good but only by Nick Cage. No one else really made me say, ‘What a great job’. So all and all, Bangkok Dangerous is just a ‘meh’ of a film.

ACTING/PLOT:

Nick Cage is in a lot of movies and like I already said this isn’t one of his best. Its one of his worst. 2.5 stars isn’t a terrible rating but this movie could have been higher. A lot higher. Nick Cage plays Joe. He’s the best assassin in this business and when he goes to Bangkok to take care of a few problems he ends up training a young man to take over the jobs and he also ends up falling in love with a women who is deaf. The movie has a good plot but it was explained wrong. Do yea understand? The movie wasn’t explained right for a 99 minute movie and it just flowed with scenes that were kind of pointless. A couple scenes were pointless. I also wanted to know more about who he was killing. I wanted more information. The acting in the movie was fine but the plot was just used sort of wrong. Nick Cage is in other movies like “National Treasure”, “Moonstruck”, “Next”, “Gone in 60 Seconds”, “City of Angels”, “National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets”, and other movies you may have seen.

Some may enjoy this movie. I sort of did and didn’t at the same time. That’s why I rated this movie 2.5 stars. I think this is just a movie to watch once then forget about it then when some one brings it up just be like “Oh, yea, I remember that movie”. Its one of those movies. Lol. So see this or don’t, I don’t really care if people ever speak of this again. I think it’s a skip but who knows, some may like this…some may not.
