Awake: Review By Midtown101

A decent film that's well paced with a gripping story. Its a thriller with romance and a lot of suspence, increasing toward the end.

The last half hour of the film speeds up immensely and with a huge twist just been thrown your way its alot to take in in such a short time. The film could easily have been stretched out a little longer; giving more screen time to the new twist relealed so late in the film.

Alba, as usual, is charming in her performance. She plays this good girl role so often it must be second nature to her now; and she plays it so well. But its the side of her character which she reveals toward the end that is most preferable and exciting to watch. This is a role i have not seen her in before; and its one i think she is well suited to. Her kind nature, beauty and girl next door charm make this twist in her character all the more surprising. I really did'nt see it coming.
