Army Of Darkness: Review By Moviemaster75

"Army of Darkness" is the 3rd installment to the "Evil Dead" trilodgy and it lacks of what we all wanted. It's a blend of comedy, horror, and gore (sorta). This was the least scariest horror movie I've ever seen. The comedy of it was pointless, it's a different look away from the previous Evil Dead movie, Evil Dead 2. The horror or so called horror of the movie was only scary enough to scare a kindergardener. Maybe. The only scene in which i saw gore was when Bruce Campbell (who plays a guy named Ash) watched a soldier thrown into "the pit" and seconds later shoot blood out like intense water rides at a flags theme park. In shorter words, the movie was a disaster.

The movie takes of where "Evil Dead 2" ended, Ash was sucked into a time warping black hole and falls from the skys around 1400 A.D. He gets taken to a castle as a prisoner and gets pushed into "the pit" and kills the witch-bitch there and comes out with a double barrel-sawed of shotgun and now everyone respects him. He finds out how to get out of there and back to his own time by finding the book of the dead but theres a catch to it, he needs to say some weird things so that when he picks it up the army of the darkness doesnt come for the book well he forgets the line, takes the book and the Army of the Darkness is pissed.

The movie as i have said before lacks of horror, Evil Dead 2 scared some sh*t outta me, when i was watching it i was afraid to go to the bathroom, when i saw this i was just afraid that when i say so many bad things about the movie it would do nothig. If that makes sense. Some parts of this i liked though, like when Bruce was thrown into the pit we saw some bad-ass action, and when the movie ended. For the fans of the movie sorry but get use to it and the haters, thumbs up for you! Now i hear that Sa Raimi the director of the "Evil Dead" trilodgy will reobot "Evil Dead", now i haven't seen it yet but i hear its good so i can't wait for it.

This movie was a big dissapointment to the people that have seen it and from "Evil Dead 2" i expected more gore, violence and more gore. I only expected that because thats all what the amazing "Evil Dead 2" was. This is not a movie that you wanna see unless you wanna see the whole trilodgy.
