American Gangster: Review By Stayinalf

This movie reminds me of Scarface in many ways. Both characters start off in poverty. Both characters turn into drug kingpins. Both characters have to deal with competitors/disloyal "friends." Although there are many similarities, the movies are different in some ways. The acting in this movie was very well performed. Russell Crowe and Denzel Washington both did a fantastic job of portraying their characters. I would definitely recommend this movie to fans of Scarface.
