What can I say that hasn't already been repeated ad nauseum ? Oh yeah, ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. THE BEST SEQUEL EVER MADE.

Gush, gush, gush, I'm sorry I don't mean to gush but the way I feel about this film can only be described by the 4 letter word - GUSH.

A truly outstanding pice of action cinema, with an acidic splash of horror and just the right creaky elevator rides amount of tension.

If you manage to see the directors cut,(in my opinion, better than the theatrical release) there are a few bits re-inserted which make the story hang together a little better. i.e: The fate of Newts family and a pair of kick ass, automated, sentry gun turrets. These scenes aren't strictly necessary however to enjoy the film, so don't be put off by just the standard version.

So, to sum up...GUSH

    I do not think it is better than the first, I just think this one has a better replay value. I hope that makes sense.

    The first one is among my favorite movies of all time too.
