how to kill a franchise and two of the biggest icons in sci-fi and comics of the 20th century...watch this!!!!

even after such a slamming from the first film,although secretly deep down i must admit it was not so bad,the follow up did not come anywhere near as...dare i say passable!!!

the cross-bred alien/predator was a huge disappointment and talk about blinding...shame it wasn't the actors performances.the blinding was that of the continuous and repeatative usage of machine gun fire,lasers,predator bombs and flares that was more likely to give the viewer head-ache rather than a head rush!!!!you could hardly see the action at points as smoke and flare glazed the screen;although such performances i certainly wouldn't want to be recognised for starring in such a lousy film.

after the promising thought of a great alien vs predator cross-breed and a potentially epic battle of unmeasureable proportion i think it's safe to say leave the story now alone and maybe apologise to the hard-core fans of two franchises for such a tragedy that was...AVP!!!
