Alien: Review By Radimus-83

So here we are, my first review in a couple of months. i have been tempted to do all the same as you all by doing all the big movies such as your Ironman's, Hulk's, Indianna's etc...

But where's the fun in that?

Here i'm doing a review on a movie than tops them all, a movie so ahead of it's time that even now in 2008 with all the money and CGI effects they have,........ they still can't do better than Alien.

It's got horror,gore,tension,excitment,suspense and proberbly thee best rubber suit ever to be worn! (apart from xxx movies)

A mining ship lands on an unchartered planet, answering a distress signal. But when members of the crew return from a search and rescue one of them has an alien/creature attached to his face.

With the crew spooked and the ship's doctor not knowing how to remove it (when trying to cut it off, they discover the alien/creature has acid for blood) they take turns watching their crew member Kane.

The creature eventually lets go, and dies shortly after.

With the crew relieved they celebrate over a meal when out of the blue Kane starts choking on his food,... or does he?

This is the moment that we all know and love and has become one of cinema's truely great scenes!

An alien egg was laid inside Kane's chest and has decided to come out and play. (maybe he didn't like the corn-bread, ha! wee Aliens joke there)

So with the remaining crew members being taking out one by one in chilling fashion (most notebly Dallas in the air-ducts) it's now a case of "get the f*ck outta there".

Emergency e-vac as they say! but while all this is going on we discover the ship's doctor is a droid, where'd that come from? WOW!!

And that he is under strict order's from earth to take the alien back with them. so he tries killing off the remaining crew. (bum deal if your a human at this point)

With out giving away the ending for any sad person who hasn't seen Alien, i'll finish with this....

Every sci-fi movie you have seen over the past 25 years, well...... you have this film to thank!

F*ck! ...You have Ridley scott to thank, while all you fans think Gladiator and The English Patient were his great movies... Alien was his master-piece!! a movie that will never be bettered for it's look, sheer sh*t your pants terror or originality!

So all you movie lover's who have spent money going to see the summer block-buster's and have been dissapointed with most of them. why not rent a piece of cinema history?

    nah i got Pred1+2 as a gift for my birthday from a friend. it's a double box set but not the re-released 2 disc versions.

    my story was no-where near as exciting or random as yours, but hey... lol

    I assume you have the "Predator" 2-Disc Edition? And the "Predator 2" 2-Disc Edition as well?

    I got the first one back in August 2004 and it came with a coupon to see "AVP" for free, and I'd already seen it once. So I naturally saw it again, but with friends at a 7:00pm showing...except we got dropped off at the wrong theater, and had to sprint a mile down the busy boulevard that was undeveloped on 1 side as the sun was setting on that hot evening, and we got there when the trailers were running, yet ACTUALLY got great seats.

    The second film I bought at Target on Superbowl Sunday Morning 2005.

    I know that those details were rather random.

    I'll be off-line temporarily in 10 minutes so my grandmother can't print up a Boarding Pass for her flight tomorrow, so don't log off...unless of course you want to. lol!

    I like the Alien trilogy as we'll. But i think "Aleins" is the best of the 4. Alien 5 is supposed to come out in 09 0r 10. Cant wait!
