Alice in Wonderland: Synopsis

From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure "Alice in Wonderland," a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen's reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Crispin Glover; Linda Woolverton wrote the screenplay. Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" (1865) and "Through the Looking-Glass" (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, "Alice in Wonderland" comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010.

    I liked the movie but I wish all the strings and loose ends were tied up and made the picture clearer on certain topics and storys, I loved the costume and animation usage but other then needing tailoring to the storyline and plots of certain the characters it was good

    Anything Alice in Wonderland I love. And anything Tim Burton I love. However, this movie was just ok. Johnny Depps character was off for me and the story wasn't a fav.

    I recently saw this movie a few weeks ago, and i have to honestly say, that it was 100% awesome and entertaining in both 2D and 3D. Both those ways were good, but i did especially like the 3D version of it, because i saw it on a bigger movie theaters screen when i saw it in 3D. I'd say that Disney and 3D are great mix!. Who ever thought of using 3D in movies that are not ment to be in 3D, but can still use it, even if its not needed, had a great idea there!. And i'm sorry, but for anyone out there who thinks 3D is already out dated, well think again, because its only just getting started!. So in other words, 3D isn't over for movies yet! ;-).

    The movie was decent. An interesting creation, better than the old-fashion version, for sure. People rave of the graphics, they were alright- as for the 3d version, it lacked using such capabilities to the fullest extent. Overall I was satisfied, but couldn't help the disappointment.. the catepillar didn't blow one smoke ring. That is the epitome of epicness: rings in succession towards your face, going through one another and what not. I was looking forward to that scene, all 3d glassed up. But that should be a review for all movies with a 3d version- use the 3 dimensions more often.
