My only disappointment in this veriosn was the limit of quirky dialgue. The "UnBirthday" song was absent, (not that is was necessary to make this film perfect), but it is a good example of the form of language spoken in Wonderland. I grew up on Alice in Wonderland. I have seen version, after version over the past 26 years. In every version I have seen, the one thing that related one version from another was the dialogue, if nothing else was par, the confusing dialogue would be. I personally enjoy the tickle of the dialogue through all the previous movies, it completed the package of Wonderland.
I will not let this deter my appreciation for Tim Burton's take. This is a story that will be remade for years to come. Every version has it's flaw and not one is completely perfect. I can not wait for the Super Serie Edition on Blu-Ray.
