This movie was so bad I just had to write about it. Lackluster in just about every conceivable way. The acting was bland, the visuals were typical, Burton's directing seemed phoned-in, and worst of all was the screenplay. The entire story and all it's dialogue felt like a sh*tty first draft. For the first 30 mins absolutely nothing happens in the plot. And who's idiotic idea was it to make this movie a sequel? I'd much rather see Tim Burton's interpretation of the original books, not a Disney live-action sequel that just happens to be directed by Tim Burton.

Fans of the original books or any previously film version will be greatly disappointed, and everyone else will be bored out of their minds. Whichever you are, nobody should see this movie.

    Wow, gotta say, what you just wrote was really dumb. Maybe if you had actually read what I had wrote you would know that i didn't think Alice In Wonderland sucked "just casue[sic] its[sic] based off somthing[sic]". It sucked because it took the book it's based on and took a giant sh*t all over it. Besides, if i did hate every new movie that was based off something, than i would have to hate every movie that's being released. But you are right about one thing, there are a lot of bad reviews for it on this site. That's because it's an awful awful movie.

    yea there are alot of bad reviews on this site mostly by people like u who is stuck in the past and whine how most new movies suck just casue its based off somthing.
