Across the Universe: Review By Rufio

Great concept poorly executed. It's almost as if they had the soundtrack first, then decided to build a movie around it. The biggest issue was its choppy storytelling. It was so choppy, in fact, that we got tired of trying to figure out who was who and why they did such and such (or how) and we turned it off before it was finished. While I loved the idea, I didn't have the patience to sit through the "musical" to figure out what happens. If you like choppy stories and a movie that makes the music the star instead of the story, then this is your movie.
