I find a lot of Jewish humor very funny and many of my favorite comedians over the years were Jewish. However, "A Serious Man" had to be one of the most boring movies I have seen this year. Too many cliche and stereotypical scenes about what we believe about Jewish people: The neighborhood bully always chasing the Jewish son, the friend who consoles the husband while he's having an affair with his wife, the teenage daughter from hell, and the too understanding husband. Skip this movie, and don't believe what the professional critics are saying about the movie.....it's terrible.

I have said you don't have to be Jewish to like this movie... but it helps.
