A Nightmare on Elm Street: Review By Reynolds

This remake is definately one of the best one out there and here is why:

Pros; Well lets start off with its resemblence to the original film. It follows the same storyline and some of the same elements as the other. And as for Freddy, well hes the same incredible villian as before but just a little darker than portrayed in the original. Its very jumpy scares and thrills are done well and will creep you out the entire time. Its direction and cinematography are its best qualities in this film because its more darker than its original.

Cons; The acting got a little bit stale at times and the dialog got a little annoying at times as well. But hey at least they did some rewrites and reshoots. Everyone except for Jackie Earl Haley had a couple of bad moments.

Final Word: Go see this film. Probably one of the best remakes Ive seen and a very faithful one too.
