A Nightmare on Elm Street: Review By Theatrical Taste

Okay, i am the biggest horror fan out there, i have tattoos all dedicated to these fine characters that we have come to all know and love and even love to hate if you will. Now when it comes to remakes? they're a joke! Halloween was the biggest joke, followed by Jason and now they took on the granddaddy of monsters Freddy? Not cool Hollywood.

I'll admit i had an open mind coming into it and to be honest it wasnt as bad as the other remakes because i wasn't watching teens just getting busy and getting slashed, pretty much what a lot of horror these days are. This one? Had none it it, it did stick to the horror and everything and didn't bother with that sh*t which i did like. But that doesn't mean it was a good movie....

First off, the story behind freddy was stupid as all hell! In the original he was actually a brutal child murderer and molester! He was a pure monster and then he got released of those charges and that's what made original great! In this one he was a f****** gardener for a preschool that only like to touch little kids? That is very disturbing and disgusting but man it was no comparison with the original story, it was nothing like it and it was stupid! Before he got burnt he was crying like a little girl not to get burnt, making it seem like he was a good guy, not the terrible monster that he was set out to be in original which was what made him Freddy Krueger the NIGHTMARE MAN! So if you loved original you won't like this one unless you're braindead....DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! WATCH ORIGINALS AND BOYCOTT REMAKES!!!!
