when i first heard McG was directing this I was a little unsure considering he directed the charlie's angels movies (you can disagree all you want but those movies both sucked and blowed at the same time) but now that i've seen this trailer my opinion has completely changed. i have a feeling this movie is gonna be sick. better than t3 anyways.
This one will be off the hook outrageuos! I love Christian Bale...he's perfect to be John Connor. I hope McG stays true to form of J.Cameron's vision! Looking forward to it!!!
I have to say it is about time this film series was re-invented again. And with Bale again re-starting a franchise. I will place a bet on this film. I have yet to find a film Bale has not given 100% in, if not more. His blood Sweat and tears are seen in every celluloid still, ond digital frame of every film. With Bale taking the helm as Sarah Connors son in the near future, and a foreseeable 3 film run. I Hope this film will be closer to the realized dream of James Cameron's John Connor, than the 3rd film. Which destroyed the idea he had of ending the war before it began. I will thusly bow to Christian Bale as John Connor, He is well more than worthy of playing the roll, and I for one am glad he has donned the resistance uniform to blast the cyborgs away.
I hope McG, who has some enormous shoes to fill, James Camerons, Puts the Terminator franchise back onto course, and makes sure he adds the phrase in the beginning, "In the possible near Future..." to open the film, putting it back on course with Camerons original idea of the films "Its over before it began" theme.
They've cast Roland Kickinger as the T-800, who bears a certain resemblance to Arnie, and weirdly is also from Austria... http://pro.imdb.com/name/nm0452199/
Ok ok, to be honest, i really hope that they can do justice to the franchise. The teaser looks good and Bale is an immense actor, but i agree with Nicome1234, in T3 (although it was shite), Arnie did say he killed Conner so surelly he has to have somekind of cameo in the last of the new trilogy.
This movie had better be an 18 certifcate, we need proper violence to make the T800 scary, unlike that stupid female terminator from T3. What a load of crap that was...
"Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins" will reinvent the cyborg saga with a storyline to be told over a three-movie span. The film is set in the future, in a full-scale war between Skynet and humankind.
I will thusly bow to Christian Bale as John Connor, He is well more than worthy of playing the roll, and I for one am glad he has donned the resistance uniform to blast the cyborgs away.

Ok I will stop babbling.
