The world's greatest team of sled dogs � Diesel, Scooper, Nana, Yodel, Sniff, Mack, Duchess, and Demon � is about to get a new owner: Miami dentist Ted Jones (Cuba Gooding Jr.). When Ted finds out that he's been named in a will, he travels to Alaska, thinking he's going to be rich, but his dreams of wealth turn to mush � he's been left the racing dogs, who have got it in for him. Making matters even worse is the crusty mountain man Thunder Jack (James Coburn), who can't wait for the city slicker to hotfoot it back to warmer climes. As Ted's life goes to the dogs, he vows to learn to mush, no matter what it takes.
