The film Youth In Revolt looks like a decent nice teenage comedy for the teenagers which is what this movie is targeted at is teenagers which it is. Now some teenager comedies are amazing ex: Superbad , Amercian Pie 1- 3. And some fail Ex: Slackers. But then this one Youth In Revolt with the new face of teen comedy Micheal Cera. This film is smackdown right in the middle of all these movies i just exaplaned. Now thats not a bad thing its just that this movie is not what it lives up its a midely entertaing teen comedys for the teens.

Youth In Revolt is based of the book by the same name i imagine now i am sure in writing this book the author dident imagine that it would be this cruel and its Sexual Content is midley graphic the humor means well and with a midley good cast Micheal Cera is well casted the one girl who plays his love interest i have no idea who that is but she wasent bad. And Justin Long was good like he always is but i would have liked this movie alot more if we had more Justin Long i would maybe like to learn more about his Character because he had the best one-liners.

Some of the comedic timing in this movie is Brilliant by Micheal Cera and Zach Glafini (The guy from the Hangover) or so the ads say. Justin Long has great comedic timing along with Fred Williard and Ray Liotta this movie even though i just listed all those jokes you may think i did. And yes at times i did but for the most part the jokes fell a little short and after i was done laughing i relized how lame it was and the luagh wasent worth it. But what keeps this movie going is the performance by Micheal Cera and his love interest. But this movie is still worth a rentel.
