Cloverfield (2008): Review By Morgana29

"Worth overpriced movie ticket!! " - Morgana29
Finally a movie that tells the story from the point of view of...well...you. Its all being "documented" from a video camera and you basically see what they see. Its genius, granted it is a little shakey and bouncy but you get used to it and you almost get the feeling that you are right in the middle of it. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Rare is a movie that does that to me. It upsets me that people dont think outside the box for once (this is in regards to those who are bashing the film) If a situation like that really happened, we wouldnt know what the heck was going on, we wouldnt know where it started, what it was that was causing the chaos and what to do. You feel their desperation and confusion. You ask yourself "what is that??" "Oh my god!!" Comparing it to the blair witch project is a little silly, only because its a video recording by someone, so what? (I thought the blair witch project was very good) I recommend everyone give this movie a try and leave all the negative comments you've read or heard at home and just see it for was it is, an enjoyable, edge of your seat thriller. And fun for the whole family!
